address your needs as a female athlete with special training proven with elite athletes worldwide
Young Female Athlete Training Program
Demands for strength, power, speed and intensity at all levels of women’s sports are greater than ever, so it should come as no surprise that strength and conditioning work should prove a vital component of a developing athlete’s specific, year-round physical preparation.
Girls face the same on-field and on-court demands as their male counterparts, yet differences between the genders do in fact significantly influence the effectiveness of strength training, as well as the overall participation in organized strength and conditioning programs.

Knee Injuries
Female athletes are at significantly greater risk of sustaining knee injuries. Differences in strength, hormones and anatomy are all part of the problem. As as result, it's even more important that every female take the steps that are in their power to reduce the risk.

Need Strength
Too often female athletes are intimidated by strength training because they haven't been exposed or have mis-conceptions that it will make them "bulky". When they are ready to train, many female teams don't get the weight-room time they deserve.

Athletes Too
While there are differences to be addressed, treating a female like anything less than an athlete is a disservice. They need weight training, speed & agility like any male athlete and can push hard to improve their performance and lower their injury risk.
What Others are Saying...
“If a girl doesn’t participate in sport by the age of 10 there is only a 10% chance she’ll be physically active at 25!
To us, this is a statistic that should change immediately and Velocity has not only become a place to be active, it’s a team which makes the dream work. Our two daughters love the challenge and setting goals!”
