Chris has had a successful career in the Finance world working for some iconic consumer brands including Pepsi, Ocean Spray Cranberries and Dunkin Donuts, serving in various roles including Treasurer and VP of Finance.
In 2012, Chris followed his passion of making the joy athletic achievement available to all by providing athletic training for athletes at every age and ability level and started the process of opening a world class 13,000 square foot center in Norwood Ma.

In high school, Tim was Varsity captain of the basketball team at Rye Neck H.S. before going onto Division1 College rugby at SUNY Brockport as captain. During Tim’s senior year at college, he was chosen for the USA Rugby NRU (Northeast Rugby Union) select side before moving onto semi-professional rugby at Rosslyn Park in London.
After graduating from New York’s Brockport State University in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology, Tim moved to London in 2008 to pursue a Masters degree in Sport Science at the University of Roehampton. During his studies in London, Tim balanced education and work commitments with a multitude of postgraduate internships and workshops. Specifically much of his extra-curricular activities focused on assisting various British National Governing Bodies with their sports performance testing services and athlete talent-identification schemes in the lead up to the 2012 London Olympic & Paralympic Games.
Aside from his involvement in the testing and training services of some of Team GB’s top athletes, Tim’s studies and work experience in the UK culminated in his landing of a full-time Strength & Conditioning Coach role with London-based, premiership rugby franchise Harlequins. While in the role he aided the squad with their successful Championship title bids during the team’s 2011 European Amlin Challenge Cup and 2012 Aviva Premiership competitions.
In addition, he also oversaw the progression of eight senior players into the England Elite Player Squad.
Upon returning to the U.S. Tim remains a highly sought after Strength & Conditioning Coach and rugby performance specialist; this recently led to his position as USA Rugby’s Head of Strength & Conditioning for the 2012 IRB Americas Rugby Championship.
Tim’s latest role is to oversee Velocity Sport Norwood’s Coaching team as their Sports Performance Director. He prides himself on being able to draw upon his unique academic background and professional experience, enabling him to lead his coaching team and provide athletes of all ages and competitive sporting backgrounds with the performance edge and personal values necessary to succeed both on and off the playing field.

Before completing a summer internship at Velocity Sports Performance, Chris interned at Athletic Evolution in Woburn, Ma during the winter and spring of 2014 working with fundamental, middle school, and high school athletes of various sports, such as lacrosse, baseball, basketball, football, and volleyball. Throughout his childhood up until Junior of High School in Rockland, Ma, Chris played baseball as an outfielder.

Laura played four varsity sports in high school and she played lacrosse at the collegiate level at Bridgewater State University, competing in the NCAA tournament. Laura is now a competitive Olympic Weightlifter, aspiring to compete at the national level.
Laura’s experience prior to Velocity Sports consist of internships at Dedham Health and Athletic Complex Physical Therapy and BeFit Performance as a personal trainer/strength and conditioning coach. As a part of the Bridgewater State University Athletic Training Program, she has interned at clinical sites including Boston College High School, St. Andrew’s High School and Roger Williams University. Laura has also demonstrated her leadership capability as the director of the summer sports camp at the Harwich Recreation Center.

After completing his degree in exercise physiology, Aaron completed an internship at Velocity Sports Performance in the fall of 2017. As an athlete, he participated in both Varsity Baseball as a shortstop, and Varsity Track in the 55m, 600m, and 4x100m relay team in his hometown of Hudson, New Hampshire.
Mental Performance Coach
Christyan Gudjenov is a Mental Performance Coach and Owner of Mental Strength Performance, LLC. He has worked in the field of sport and performance psychology for over 5 years and has received his Bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University in Behavioral Science and a minor in Exercise Science, as well as his Master’s degree from Springfield College in Athletic Counseling. He has worked with dozens of sport and business organizations across the country on developing and utilizing mental skills to increase individual and team performance. Some of these organizations include TB12 Sports Therapy Center, Mass Premier Courts, Clearlink, CrossFit Stronger than Yesterday, Conca Sport & Fitness, and multiple athletic teams at Springfield College. Some of the mental skills Christyan specializes in training are psychology of sport injury, overcoming adversity, using stress and nervousness as game fuel, developing a growth mindset, mental preparation, teamwork, mindfulness meditation, visualization, using positive self-talk, and the before and after of leadership. Christyan has also volunteered with many organizations like the Boy Scouts of America, Special Olympics, Red Cross, and various church groups. He currently lives in North Attleboro, MA with his wife and two boys.
