Most frequent questions and answers

Velocty Remote Coaching programs are custom built which means we can design a program around anything from no equipment, to a state of the art performance gym.

We recommend 2-3 different weight kettlebells/dumbbells, elastic min-bands, jump-rope, and 1″ superbands for most trainees.

Advanced trainees can benefit from barbells and more, but it’s not required.

You can have unlimited contact with your coach.  After all, the goal of the program is to get you results.

Every program starts with a live strategy session through ZOOM so your personal coach can learn about your training history, goals, and available time/equipment.

You also can communicate with them directly in the app and your coach will always respond in 24 hours on weekdays.

The Advanced Program has the added benefit of additional live coach check-ins to keep you on track.

Generic training programs are all over the internet.  If you just want something that tells you how many reps and sets to do for an exercise; then this isn’t for you.

This is about guiding you through a program thats custom designed for you.  That means a real human coach who connects with you, answers questions,  and makes adjustments to help you get results.

Through ZOOM consultations, video critiques, wellness monitoring, and conversations coaches are in it with you so you reach your goals.

It’s a fair question and one we ask all the time.  You see, in elite sports today there are endless technologies be tried, but must don’t pass the test of accuracy, validity, practicality and actionable information.

Some devices are better than others, but we’ve learned that combining many of the options with your training results and feedback gives us great insight.

In fact, even in live coaching situations, we collect this data because of the added value so we can adapt both training and recovery plans to ensure maximum gains from training.  

The FLEX barbell tracking device gives you remoter access to the same barbell tracking we use with our elite athletes to auto-regulate their training.  

Autoregulation is an approach to adapt training loads to your individual daily readiness, instead of just using preset percentages and intensities.

So, yes, it does.  Thats why we do it with some of the worlds best athlete’s and organizations.

Once you have selected your pan and registered, your coach will send an email with a survey to begin learning more about you.  Sports goals, training & injury history, any personal preferences, your equipment availability, and your preferred schedule.

Scheduling the strategy session is the next step to speak live with your coach.

Programs begin every 2 weeks so our coaches can provide a highly detailed and organized experience for you.
