It doesn’t matter what type of athlete you are, Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System’s Sports Medicine Institute is here to push you to the next level. Our clinics, physicians, rehab services and sports performance coaches are ready to keep you at the top of your game.

Now with two locations at the Upward Star Center and North Grove Medical Park, the Sports Medicine Institute is staffed with board-certified doctors who specialize in sports medicine and orthopedic care – including spine injuries and joint replacement.

Our physicians work closely with our physical therapists and sports performance coaches to create individualized sports medicine and rehabilitation care for athletes of any level.

Bringing Elite Training to Every Athlete

Every athletes wants to be their best and don’t want to miss out an opportunities to improve. When world-class track coach Loren Seagrave founded Velocity, we broke open the doors to elite sport. We shared our experience working with world-class athletes with everyone.

Velocity gave athletes of all levels entry into elite training facilities. Staffed by professional coaches. Using advanced speed training and coaching techniques. Any athlete willing to put in the work, could benefit and improve their speed.
