All of our coaches have earned four year degrees in Kinesiology or Exercise Science and many have their Masters degrees, they have also earned certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association or USA Weightlifting

Before Kenny kicked off his coaching career in 2009, he was a camp counselor. He taught children and adults how to play, learn new things, but most importantly, how to have fun. He brings that same attitude to his coaching technique. Whether training an Olympic athlete or an athlete just starting out, he makes sure the performance-based training sessions are fun and dynamic. His personal accomplishments include competing in three weightlifting meets, three powerlifting meets, and completing a marathon.

Born and raised in Okinawa, Japan, Yohei played many sports growing up — tennis, swimming, baseball, volleyball — but his main passion was basketball. Determined to make sports a key part of his life, he left Japan after high school and began his coaching career at California State University Fresno where he earned by B.S. and M.A in Kinesiology.

Angelina Masino grew up playing many sports, but it wasn’t until she began competing in bodybuilding that she found her true passion for strength training and healthy eating. After completing her education at Washington State University, she began her career at Velocity Sports Performance in 2014. Angelina enjoys coaching athletes in performance and improving the health of their body by combining aesthetics with functional movements.
